These stainless steel flat-nose pliers with no-mar, durable nylon jaws are great for holding and straightening wire; their smaller size is perfect for smaller hands. On flat-nose pliers, both jaws are flat; jaws lined with nylon are ideal for shaping soft sheet, wire or components without marring. The nylon elements are replaceable, extending the life of the tool; you can also carve and shape the nylon as needed for specific tasks. The tough, rust-resistant stainless steel delivers reasonable life and good value.
• These pliers have a box joint; one half of the joint surrounds the other, and the pivot is contained within. This joint holds its alignment far longer than a lap joint but allows the tool to open only as far as the box size.
• The handles are covered with soft, flexible PVC grips, providing comfort over extended use.
